FORT WORTH, August 26, 2025 – Ranchbot Monitoring Solutions, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Farmbot Monitoring Solutions and a leader in the RanchTech sector, today announced the appointment of James Clement III, Andrea Nicholas Perdue and Howard Leibman to its Board of Directors. This transition follows the retirement of Australian-based directors Kathryn Sforcina and Rob Fitzpatrick, who have both made significant contributions during their tenure.

The board changes reflect Ranchbot’s strategic focus on expanding its operations and customer base in the U.S. ranching sector, a key growth market for the business.

 

About James Clement III        

James Clement is a rancher, Marine Corps officer, and agricultural technology leader. He currently serves as Senior Vice President & General Manager of Grass and Rangeland at EarthOptics, where he helps producers unlock the value of their land by mapping soil health, carbon capture, and increasing productivity at scale.

Clement’s roots run deep in ranching, his family has carried on nearly 400 years of tradition through Beggs Cattle Co. and King Ranch. Clement blends this heritage with innovation, having previously spent a decade at King Ranch where he advanced conservation and energy programs, managed the Horse Division, and earned national recognition. He is also the co-founder of Bloody Buckets Cattle Co. and The Land Board, leading initiatives in livestock management, conservation, governance, and succession planning.

Beyond his corporate and ranching career, Clement has served as a U.S. Marine since 2008. As an infantry officer, he has led troops in Afghanistan, Chile, and Mexico, and commanded refugee operations during Operation Allies Welcome.

He also serves on the boards of Beggs Cattle Company, Frontiers Market, American Quarter Horse Association, the National Ranching Heritage Center, Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and as a governor-appointed member of the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board. Clement is a graduate of Goucher College and holds an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Cornell University. He and his wife, Paige, live in South Texas with their children, where they raise cattle and horses.

 

About Andrea Nicholas Perdue

Andrea Nicholas Perdue is the Chief Executive Officer of Wagonhound Land and Livestock in Wyoming, one of the leading ranching, horse, and hunting operations in the United States. She brings deep expertise in both global finance and ranching operations, bridging the worlds of investment, land stewardship, and livestock management.

Prior to joining Wagonhound in 2021, Ms. Perdue was Managing Director at DigitalBridge (formerly Colony Capital), where she was responsible for capital formation and investor relations across the firm’s global platforms. She originally joined Colony Capital in 2008, focusing on the identification, evaluation, and consummation of new investments, primarily in North America.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Perdue worked at Goldman Sachs International in London as an Associate in the Securities Division, where she specialized in Sales and Trading.

She currently sits on the Advisory Board for AutoCamp, a hospitality company offering luxury outdoor lodging, serves on the Board of Directors for the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation, Inc., and is a director for both The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and the Seven Arrows Elementary School Board of Trustees. Ms. Perdue previously served on the Business School Fund Council for the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ms. Perdue holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she focused on global management.

 

About Howard Leibman

Howard Leibman is the co-founder of EVP, a Sydney based venture capital firm with a focus on B2B software. Since launching in 2014, EVP has raised five funds and invested across a portfolio of almost fifty high growth software businesses. Prior to founding EVP, Howard worked across a range of startups as investor, director and interim executive.

He previously served for five years as Head of Corporate Development for NASDAQ listed Heartware International, a global medical technology business. He began his career as an engineer with General Electric Company before spending several years in the corporate finance team at Emerging Growth Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Engineering (Elec) from UNSW and an MBA from the AGSM and London Business School.

Alongside Farmbot, Howard serves as a director EVP portfolio companies Deputy, Fergus, Ignition and Practifi. He previously served as a director of EVP portfolio companies Outfit, Oneflare, Fusion Sport and Rezdy, all of which have been exited.
